Back in 2012, during the golden era of YouTube tutorials, I absorbed everything I could from online creators. That curiosity evolved into a passion — and eventually, into a voice and vision of my own.
It became the foundation for everything that followed: years of platinum records, global tours, and moments I had once only dreamed of… and it all began with posting copyright-free music online.
When ‘Faded’ blew up and the world suddenly knew my name, I knew one thing for sure: I had to stay true to the values that shaped me — the ones I’d learned from gaming and online communities growing up. So I stepped out not as a celebrity, but as a bedroom producer in a hoodie and mask. The message was simple: anyone could be me.
I launched a secret website for fans who noticed hidden clues in my videos and songs, a digital scavenger hunt for the observant. That was the beginning of the Walker community.
Since 2015, it’s grown into one of the most passionate and united fan movements in the world, with over 100,000 dedicated family members. At its core, the Walker community is about connection, creativity and belonging.
And today, we're more connected than ever.
Fan creativity has always been part of my DNA. Together we’ve made music, co-created videos, and shared experiences unlike anything I’ve seen in the music world.
Watching other creators sparked something in me - and changed my life. That’s why I’ve never wanted to just make music. I’ve always aimed to build a universe and inspire others. The World of Walker is full of story, mystery and depths - and something fans could explore, contribute to, and make their own.
